*NSS Volunteers of Nest College Sowing Seeds of Sustainability*
In collaboration with the "Tharishu Rahitha Paadashekaram" project of Karivellur Peralam Grampanchayat and Krishibhavan, Nest College NSS Unit 70 volunteers planted sorghum in the Kolavayal Field of Virip Kannavayal Paadashekaram.The pupils had the chance to learn about farming practices that the younger generation is not familiar with.The students remarked that getting down in the dirt and dancing to the song's beat was a new experience. V. Tamban, a member of the third ward of the Karivellur Peralam Grampanchayat, officially opened the celebration. The ceremony was supervised by V. Sreevidya, the second ward Member. Namitha, the Agriculture Officer, discussed the following strategy. K.V . Harithas , who cultivates two and half acres of land in Kolavayal ,Patasekara Committee Secretary T. V. Mohanan, Agricultural Assistants Nishitha and Seema gave their speeches. Farmers M. Radha, P. Prabhakaran, NSS Programme Officer M.V.Anitha, teachers K.Savitha ,Najma,Nest College Administrator K.P.Murali ,Office Staff K.Basheer and NSS Volunteers participated .
